Winchester AUTOCOMP is a ball powder designed for competition race guns. A perfect burn speed to feed the compensators with a higher volume of gas, it is a great choice for 38 Super, 9mm, 45 ACP and 40 S&W. With AUTOCOMP, competitors get off faster shots with minimal muzzle flash.
I've used this product before and have been pleased with its performance. It measures nicely thru my powder measure, burns clean and provides good accurancy in all my 9mm handguns. My next test will be in .38 Special loads. This is my first direct order from Hodgdon and I'm very pleased with their service.
Best powder for 9mm that I have found for my particular load.
Winchester AutoComp Powder
Honestly this powder is great for range loads IMO and also can be used in some bigger pistol loads. I mainly use it for 9mm and it works wonderfully. My only nit pick is I think it would be cool if you got a load data sheet with the order so then you have a physical sheet instead of going to the website to get it but like I said it’s just a nit pick. Overall amazing product itself
Good powder for my .380 auto
Meters well burns clean
Gives consistent groups in my .45ACP.
I use this powder for loading .45acp, Powder runs well in my loads. I load 6.1 gr for 200gr swc ammo and 6.5gr for 230 gr rn bullets, Have not tried it on defense rounds yet...That's next. So far real happy with it's performance.
Works well in my 90 gr. .380 acp xtp loads and my .40 s&w 165 gr.fmj loads....a little dirty but I get good velocity and low sd...trying to find some more but around here powder is scarce
